Our Priorities

Our Priorities

 

Our Trust's strategic priorities align with, and support, the priorities of our individual schools.

Our key Trust improvement priorities for 2026/27 are focused around:

 

Pillar A:  High Quality & Inclusive Education

  • Further refining curriculum offers to accelerate pupils' achievement
  • Improving adaptive teaching to accelerate pupils' achievement
  • Securing strong foundational learning, supported by Trust phonics, speech & language therapy, and Trust English/Maths Lead Practitioners
  • Improving outcomes for pupils with Pupil Premium and / or SEND, via our schools' inclusion strategies, supported by our new Trust Director of Learning & Innovation
  • Further supporting pupils’ well-being, especially vulnerable learners, through additional Trust resources, e.g. STEER
  • Further improving attendance rates, especially for Pupil Premium, and reviewing behaviour policies and practice in line with the latest DfE behaviour guidance
  • Further enhancing a strong culture of safeguarding, including updating schools' medical policites/provision for allergies

 

Pillar B:  School Improvement

  • Enhancing our school improvement capacity through Zenith’s bespoke project with the Education Endowment Foundation, and engagement with RISE
  • Enhance Zenith's school improvement capacity and impact in English, Maths, and PPG, through strategic deployment of Trust/staff use of external experts/new links

 

Pillar C:  Workforce

  • Introducing our new People Strategy to support the recruitment and retention of high-quality staff, including promoting greater diversity and staff well-being
  • Ensuring our new SEND provisions are fully staffed with high-quality practitioners

 

Pillar D:  Finance & Operations

  • Further enhancing our school operations capacity (finance, IT , estates, etc.)
  • Opening our new SEND School (Wolsey Park) and Castledon's satellite provision
  • Improving sustainability

 

Pillar E:  Governance & Leadership

  • Further strengthening governance, and refining approaches to risk management
